About...

Groups are the heart of Grace Fellowship, providing a positive opportunity to build relationships with other Christians and to grow spiritually. 
 

Groups meet at various times throughout the week, at home or at church and include fellowship, food, and Bible study.

Calendar...

Groups operate on a semester system that provides entry and exit points three times each year (fall, winter, and spring semesters). Each semester meets 6-8 weeks, with a short break between the semesters.

 ~ 2024-2025 Calendar: 
  • Fall Semester: October 6 - November 27

  • Winter Semester: January 19 - February 26

  • Spring Semester: April 6 - May 28

How to Join...

Sign up for each semester generally starts two weeks before the semester. Sign up is done online--see options below. Sign up options for groups with openings remain available throughout each semester, so you may sign up anytime.

About the Leaders: Jesse and Morgan have been married 11yrs and have 5 children. Jesse is a Fireman with the Atmore FD and has his own construction business. Morgan is a full-time, stay-at-home mom. They enjoy connecting with people, being active, any kind of sporting event, and being outdoors. 

 

Group Purpose: To walk in obedience of Gods calling as followers, to uplift and support one another through love and fellowship. Hebrews 10:24-25

 

Group Audience: Open to all adults—most of our group members are families with young children.


Group Study: Sermon-based Bible study.
 

Time of Meeting: Sunday, 5:00pm (potluck dinner)

Place of Meeting: Group Leaders/Members homes

 

Childcare: Provided!!

About the Leaders: Jupe and Holly have been married 30 years. In 2018 they retired from the USAF where Jupe served 26 years. 
 
Group Purpose: Build relationships, pursue and glorify God
 
Group Audience: This family friendly group will seek to incorporate into the study all ages and walks of life. 
 
Group Study: sermon-based Bible study.
 
Time of Meeting: Sunday after church for lunch.
 
Place of Meeting: The Jupe and Holly's home
 
Childcare: Childcare is provided.

About the Leaders: This group is lead by Mike and Mary Thomas.

 

Group Purpose: to enjoy fellowshipping around food, Bible study, sharing, and praying for each other 

 

Group Audience: adults.

 

Group Study: sermon-based bible study. 

 

Time of Meeting: Sundays for lunch

About the Leaders: The Young Adults group is led by Keith and Sandy Classen and Jake and Lynette Penner. 

Keith and Sandy have been married for 21 years and have 3 kids.  Keith is a Nurse Practitioner for Atmore Urgent Care and Sandy is a Registered Nurse for Atmore Community Hospital.  They enjoy cooking together, watching movies, and figuring out how to juggle life and family.  Keith will take any chance he can get to get on a tractor or piece of heavy equipment, and Sandy will read just about anything put in front of her.

 

Coming from very different backgrounds, Jake and Lynette met in their late 20's and married in 2005. Together, they have 2 teenage children living with them in the house and 4 cats and 2 dogs living outside. :) They own & operate a business, an Airbnb, and a small farm. Although they still haven't been married longer than they were single, they love "shoulder-to-shoulder" work on projects such as gardening, farm chores, and DIY projects.
 
Group Purpose: to seek God's guidance through fellowship and study while navigating the many changes and decisions that are a hallmark of life throughout young adulthood.
 
Group Audience: Young adults (post-high school)
 
Group Study: sermon-based Bible study.
 
Time of Meeting: TBA (based on needs of group)
 
Place of Meeting: homes of group leaders
 
Childcare: No childcare is provided.

About the Leaders: this group is co-led by Ruth and Jim Weber and Floyd and Patricia Harris.

Jim and Ruth Weber are both retired and enjoy meeting people and building meaningful relationships. 

Floyd and Patricia Harris have been married for 46 years.  They have two adult sons, one daughter-in-law, and one fantastic grandson.

 
Group Purpose: to learn to know one other, to grow spiritually, and to have fun as we spend time together. Our group is open to anyone but is mostly made up of folks who are finished with raising their children and are welcoming the grandparent stage of life.
 
Group Audience: Our group is open to all adults.  
 
Group Study: sermon-based Bible study.
 
Time of Meeting: Sunday after church for lunch and study
 
Place of Meeting: Grace Fellowship
 
Childcare: No childcare is provided.

About the Leaders: David and Deborah Landis have three married children and one grandchild. After serving in full time prison ministry for almost 20 years, David now serves as a church overseer and operates Landis Design Co. Deborah works as a pharmacy tech at Atmore Community hospital and also helps with the business. The Landises enjoy spending time together as a family and love sitting on the beach whenever possible!

 

Group Purpose: Learning how to follow Jesus together in our everyday lives.

 

Group Audience: Open to all adults

 

Group Study: sermon-based bible study. 

 

Time of Meeting: Wednesdays, at 6:45 p.m.

Place of Meeting: group leaders/members homes

 

Childcare: childcare provided as needed.

Group Purpose: to connect socially and grow spiritually.
 
Group Audience: Our group is open to all adults.

Place of Meeting: Grace Fellowship

About the Leaders: This group is co-led by Raja and Angie Atallah and Dave and Mary Landis.

Raja and Angie have four children. Raja works as an academic advisor and teaches at Pensacola State College, while also serving as the discipleship pastor at Grace fellowship. Angie is the administrative assistant for Flomaton First Baptist. 

Dave and Mary have five children. Dave serves as a prison chaplain for We Care and enjoys his home farm and tractor adventures. Mary is a stay-at-home mom who is busy with homeschooling.
 
Group Purpose: to build relationships and grow spiritually.
 
Group Audience: Our group is open to all adults--most of our groups members are families with small to teen kids.  
 
Group Study: sermon-based Bible study.
 
Time of Meeting: Sunday, after church for lunch and study
 
Place of Meeting: Grace Fellowship
 
Childcare: Childcare is provided on a need basis.

About the Leaders: Gene serves as the lead pastor at Grace Fellowship; Judy works as a nurse. Gene and Judy have three adult children, two sons and a daughter.
 
Group Purpose: to CONNECT to each other and to God by studying God's Word, spending time sharing our victories and struggles, and praying together.
 
Group Audience: most are 40s with teenage or adult kids.
 
Group Study: Sermon-based Bible study

Group Audience: Our group is open to senior adults who want to make a difference.
 
Group Study: Christ-centered discussion on various life topics. Helping each other through the struggles of life as we focus on serving Christ. Showing His love through our words and our deeds.
 
Time of Meeting: Sunday aft
